Everything Fred – Part 193

26 December 2023

I hope you had a holly jolly Christmas. There was only one lump of coal in my stocking, so I’m thankful.

I have no idea what is going on with me. This is the second “down” day. Again I have absolutely no energy and have difficulty walking. I’m curious what my adrenal output is.

I can’t tell if the Lyrica is doing any good. I still have painful neuropathy in the feet and hands and it doesn’t seem to have abated any. I used the TENS unit again last night on my lower back for 15 minutes. Geez, I’m falling apart!

I was scheduled to go to Nancy and Michel’s last night and was scheduled for lunch today with Tom and Kurt. I was doing good to get the dishwasher emptied so I called and canceled lunch today. They were very understanding.

John came over last night with chili, diced onions and corn bread. He experiments with a lot of chili recipes and I have to admit last night’s chili was the best. He also make a mean corn bread. He does put a little sugar in his (heresy to Southerners) but the sweetness of the corn bread worked well against the spiciness of the chili. He dialed down the spicy part for me. I still haven’t been able to eat very spicy food like I once did. Otherwise, I’ve pretty much recovered my taste buds.

After John left, I watched an episode of Julia on MAX and then crawled into bed to read. I cut out the light around 9:30 and 7 hours and 49 minutes of sleep so I should be good on the sleep issue.

I’ll order groceries online today. I’m definitely not getting out. It’s also raining all day so that’s another excuse for home delivery.

Tomorrow, I dread. I take the jeep in for two recalls, one of which they have the ability to fix. There is no telling whether they will do the head rest and the headlight nor there isn’t any telling how much time it will take. I’ll probably take an Uber home from the dealership just so I don’t have to sit all day there. Pray for me!

Stay tuned!
